VLT-SD105LP is a 160 watt lamp module with a 3000 hour rated life, covering two closely related Mitsubishi projector lines at once: the SD105 and the XD105, plus the boardroom-branded MD-150S. It is supplied fully housed, so the sealed unit lifts straight out and the replacement lifts straight in.
Nine Mitsubishi model names share this one lamp code, from the SD105U through to the LVP-XD105, which makes checking the part number on your old module more reliable than checking the projector's model name alone. There are no alternative codes for this lamp; VLT-SD105LP is the only number to look for.

Common questions
Why do both the SD105 and XD105 ranges use the same lamp?
Mitsubishi built the SD105 and XD105 on a shared platform, differing mainly in resolution rather than the lamp engine, so both ranges, plus the MD-150S, take the identical VLT-SD105LP module.
Is the MD-150S the same as the SD105?
The MD-150S is Mitsubishi's boardroom-market naming for the SD105 platform. It uses the same VLT-SD105LP module as the standard SD105 and SD105U, so the naming does not affect which lamp you need.
How many hours of use should I expect before this lamp needs replacing?
It carries a 3000 hour rated life. As that figure approaches, expect the image to dim gradually and possibly shift in colour balance, which is the usual signal it's due for replacement.
Does the LVP-XD105 need a different module from the newer XD105U?
No, the LVP prefix is simply Mitsubishi's earlier naming convention for the same projector, and both the LVP-XD105 and XD105U take the same VLT-SD105LP module.
Should I buy the module version or the bare bulb for my SD105?
The module, which includes the housing, is the straightforward option if you'd rather not open your existing cage. A bare bulb version is also available separately if your housing is still in good condition and you want to reuse it.
This is a complete module — bulb already seated in its housing, so it drops straight in.
