CPX2020LAMP is a complete lamp and housing unit built for a broad family of Hitachi projectors, spanning the CP-WX8, CP-X2020, CP-X2520, CP-X3020 and the CP-X7 through CP-X9 line, along with the ED-X50, ED-X52 and several HCP models. The bulb itself runs at 200 watts and is rated for 3000 hours of use.
Hitachi has also sold this same module as DT01141, so if your projector's manual or old lamp sticker shows that number instead, it describes the identical part we list as CPX2020LAMP. Because it is a full module rather than a bare bulb, fitting it means swapping the whole housing as one piece, which keeps you from having to handle the glass directly during the change.

Common questions
How can I tell whether my Hitachi projector takes the CPX2020LAMP?
Check the model number on your projector against the CP-X and ED-X list for this lamp, since Hitachi used this same module across a wide range of closely related units.
Is DT01141 a different lamp to CPX2020LAMP?
No, it is the same module under Hitachi's own numbering. We sell it as CPX2020LAMP, and DT01141 is simply an alternative code for that identical part.
What power and lifespan does the CPX2020LAMP offer CP-WX8 owners?
It runs at 200 watts with a rated life of 3000 hours, figures that apply to standard use rather than any particular brightness or eco setting.
Does fitting a full module require any tools?
Most Hitachi projectors in this range use a removable panel and a couple of screws to access the lamp bay, so a small screwdriver is usually all that is needed.
Why does one part number cover so many Hitachi models?
Hitachi built a large family of projectors around the same optical engine, so models with different names and body shapes can still share an identical lamp module like this one.
This is a complete module — bulb already seated in its housing, so it drops straight in.

Other Hitachi lamps in the catalogue. Codes in the same family often differ by a single character, so check the part number against your old lamp before ordering.
