Common questions

Which lamp does the Optoma EW860 take?

The Optoma EW860 uses BL-FU400A, also sold as SP.8LB04G.C01, SP.8LB04GC01.

Should I buy the bare bulb or the module?

Both are available. The module is the bulb already fitted in its housing and is the quicker swap. The bare bulb is cheaper and re-uses your existing housing, but you move the bulb across yourself.

Rated life depends on the lamp mode you run and how the projector is ventilated; the lamp's own page lists the figure where the manufacturer publishes one.

Does the same lamp fit other Optoma projectors?

Yes. The same lamp also fits the Optoma EW865, the Optoma EX850, the Optoma EX855, the Optoma OPX6015, the Optoma SP.8LB04GC001, the Optoma TW865 and other Optoma models listed on this page.
