Benq MX570 projector lamp
The Benq MX570 takes lamp 5J.J9R05.001 . It is available both as a complete module (bulb fitted in its housing) and as a bare bulb for re-using your existing housing. The same lamp is also sold under 2 other part numbers, all listed below. It fits 25 Benq models in total.
The code moulded into your old lamp or printed on its housing may be any of these. They are the same part. If the code on your lamp appears in this table, it fits the Benq MX570.
| Code | Used by |
|---|---|
5J.J9R05.001 | Benq original part number |
5J.J9R05.001?(新料) | Equivalent code |
5J.JC205.001 | Equivalent code |
The code printed on your old lamp or its housing should match one of the codes listed above. Benq and third-party suppliers sell the same lamp under several numbers.
The model number is on a label on the base or rear of the projector, and in the on-screen menu under Information. Still unsure? Send a photo of the old lamp and we'll confirm the match.
If your projector is one of these rather than the MX570, the same lamp is the correct part.
Which lamp does the Benq MX570 take?
The Benq MX570 uses 5J.J9R05.001, also sold as 5J.J9R05.001?(新料), 5J.JC205.001.
Should I buy the bare bulb or the module?
Both are available. The module is the bulb already fitted in its housing and is the quicker swap. The bare bulb is cheaper and re-uses your existing housing, but you move the bulb across yourself.
How long does the MX570 lamp last?
Rated life depends on the lamp mode you run and how the projector is ventilated; the lamp's own page lists the figure where the manufacturer publishes one.
Does the same lamp fit other Benq projectors?
Yes. The same lamp also fits the Benq 5J.JC205.001 (舊料), the Benq BS3030, the Benq CP1506, the Benq CP1527, the Benq ED933, the Benq MS504 and other Benq models listed on this page.
- Turn the projector off, unplug it and let the lamp cool for about 45 minutes.
- Loosen the screw(s) holding the lamp cover on the side of the projector, then open and remove the cover.
- Unplug the lamp connector and loosen the screw that secures the lamp.
- Raise the lamp handle and pull the lamp out slowly by it - pulling too fast can break it.
- Lower the new lamp in, tighten its screw without overtightening, and lay the handle flat until it locks.
- Reconnect the lamp connector, refit and close the lamp cover, and tighten the cover screw(s).
- If the projector is ceiling-mounted upside down, make sure nobody is underneath the lamp socket.
- Reconnect power and restart (never with the cover off), then reset the lamp timer.
Until you reset it, the MX570 keeps counting from the old lamp's hours and will warn that the new lamp is expiring.
