tdplw3a-projector-lamp-module
TDPLW3A projector lamp with module

Six Toshiba models carry the TDPLW3A designation for their lamp: the TDP-T90A, T90AU, T91A, T91AU, TW90A and TW90U. This is the 'A' revision of the T90 series lamp, and Toshiba's own documentation also refers to it as TLPLW3A, describing the same complete lamp and housing assembly.

Note that this differs from the older, non-A TDP-T90 and TDP-T91 models, which use a separate lamp entirely, so check whether your projector's model name ends in A before ordering. As a module, this replacement includes the housing, so the full assembly is swapped rather than just the bulb.

At a glance

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-10492

Compatibility — 6 projector models

Common questions

Is the TDPLW3A the same lamp as the earlier TDP-T90 models?
No, the 'A' suffix marks a revised version of the projector that takes a different lamp to the original TDP-T90 and TDP-T91, so it is important to check your exact model name.

Why is this lamp listed under two codes?
TDPLW3A and TLPLW3A both describe the identical part; Toshiba's documentation has used both spellings for the same lamp and housing assembly across its printed materials and packaging.

Does the TW90A need a different module to the T90A?
No, the TDP-T90A, T91A and TW90A families are all specified for this same TDPLW3A module, so one part covers the range regardless of which of the six listed models you own.

What does buying the module save me from doing?
It saves you from separating a bulb from its old housing, since the whole lamp and cage arrive assembled and ready to fit as a single unit.

How do I confirm my projector is the A revision?
Check the model designation printed on the projector case or in its on-screen menu; if it ends in A, such as T90A or T91A, this is the correct lamp.
