This module needs no transferring of parts from your old unit.

At a glance

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-11691

Compatibility — 5 projector models

Common questions

Does T288-LAMP really fit five different Lenovo projectors?
Yes. Lenovo built the T266, T285, T288, T290 and T501ST around the same lamp assembly, so a single code, T288-LAMP, covers all five models rather than each needing its own separate part.

What is included in the T288-LAMP module?
The module is a complete housing with the replacement bulb already seated inside it. You remove the old assembly from the projector as one piece and fit this new one in its place, without handling the bulb directly.

My projector is a T501ST, is this the right lamp?
Yes, the T501ST is one of the five models this module is built for, alongside the T266, T285, T288 and T290. All five share the same T288-LAMP code in our listings.

Is there a bare-bulb version of T288-LAMP available?
Yes, the same code is also listed as a bare bulb without a housing, for fitting into an existing cage that is still in good condition. This particular listing is the module version, housing included.

Will my Lenovo keep warning about the lamp even after T288-LAMP goes in?
It can. Most Lenovo projectors in this range track lamp hours and will keep warning until the counter is cleared, so after installing the T288-LAMP module, check the projector's lamp or maintenance menu for a reset option.
