sp-lamp-027-projector-lamp
SP-LAMP-027 bare projector lamp

Two brand names share SP-LAMP-027 as a bare lamp: the Ask C445 and C445+, and the Infocus C445, C445+, IN42 and IN42+, six projectors in total. It runs at 285 watts, among the higher wattages in this range, with a 2,000-hour rated life, and is supplied without a housing for fitting into an existing carrier.

The plus and non-plus variants, C445 and C445+, IN42 and IN42+, all take the identical SP-LAMP-027 lamp according to our records, so the suffix does not change which part to order. Since this is a bare bulb, check your current housing for cracks or a clouded window first; a module version with new housing is listed separately under the same code.

At a glance

Wattage — 285 W

Rated life — 2,000 hours

Type — Bare Projector Lamp

SKU — LA-08118

Compatibility — 6 projector models

Common questions

Does the '+' in C445+ or IN42+ mean it needs a different lamp?
No, our records show the C445 and C445+, and the IN42 and IN42+, all share the same SP-LAMP-027 lamp, so the plus suffix does not affect which part to order.

Why is this lamp rated at 285 watts, higher than some similar Infocus lamps?
285 watts is simply the specification Infocus set for the lamp platform used in the C445 and IN42 series. Other Infocus lamp families are specified differently, so wattage varies from model to model.

Is there a genuine photo available for SP-LAMP-027?
No, a real product photo is not available for this lamp, so a generic placeholder image is used on this listing instead. The part number and compatibility details are unaffected by this.

How do I check whether my existing housing can be reused with this bare bulb?
Look for cracks, warping or a lamp window that has clouded.
