np9lp01-projector-lamp-module
NP9LP01 projector lamp with module

NP9LP01 is the module NEC built for the NC900, NC900C and PH800T cinema projectors. This lamp carries an unusually wide set of alternative references -- 1165205, NP-9LP01, NP-9LP02 and the combined NP9LP01/NP9LP02 -- all pointing to the same part, though we haven't confirmed a wattage or hours figure to publish alongside them.

With so many codes attached to one lamp, the safest check before ordering is your projector model itself: NC-900C, NC900, NC900C or PH800T. As a module, NP9LP01 includes a new housing and connector along with the bulb, so there's nothing to inspect on your existing cage first.

At a glance

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-09598

Compatibility — 4 projector models

Common questions

Why does NP9LP01 have so many alternative part numbers?
Different NEC documentation and earlier catalogues have referred to this same lamp as 1165205, NP-9LP01, NP-9LP02, or the combined NP9LP01/NP9LP02, but they all describe the identical module listed here.

What kind of projector is the PH800T?
It's a cinema-oriented NEC projector from the same generation as the NC900 and NC900C, and all three share the NP9LP01 lamp platform and module design between them.

Are NP9LP01 and NP9LP02 different lamps?
As far as our records show, both refer to the same module for the NC900 and PH800T family, which is why we list them together as alternative codes rather than as separate parts.

Is 1165205 a genuine NEC reference or a generic code?
It's one of the reference numbers associated with this lamp in NEC's own documentation, listed here as an alternative to NP9LP01 rather than a separate or generic part.

Why is there no wattage listed for NP9LP01?
We haven't been able to confirm a published wattage or lamp-life figure for this part, so both fields are left blank.
