lt40lp-projector-lamp-module
LT40LP Projector Lamp with Module

LT40LP crosses two brands: NEC lists it for the LT140, LT84 and LT84G, while Panasonic uses the same lamp in the PT-L7 under the code ET-LAD7. Both part numbers describe the identical lamp and housing unit, so whichever brand's projector you own, the module fitting it is the same.

If your old lamp is labelled ET-LAD7 rather than LT40LP, this listing is still correct, since Panasonic and NEC use different codes for what is otherwise the same module. As a complete unit, housing is included, so no parts need transferring from your old lamp. Confirm which of the four listed projectors, LT140, LT84, LT84G or PT-L7, you own before ordering.

At a glance

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-10959

Compatibility — 4 projector models

Common questions

Why does this lamp have both an NEC and a Panasonic code?
NEC lists it as LT40LP for the LT140, LT84 and LT84G, while Panasonic lists the same lamp as ET-LAD7 for the PT-L7. Both codes describe the identical module, so either label on your old lamp confirms a match.

Will LT40LP fit a Panasonic projector?
Yes, it fits the Panasonic PT-L7, though on Panasonic's own labelling the same lamp is marked ET-LAD7 rather than LT40LP, so check your projector documentation for whichever code it uses.

Does the NEC LT84G use a different lamp from the LT84?
No, both the LT84 and LT84G are listed as compatible with the same LT40LP module, alongside the LT140 and the Panasonic PT-L7, so the same part serves all four listed projectors.

Why is the same lamp sold under two different brand codes?
NEC and Panasonic each catalogue their own projectors independently, so the identical lamp carries the code LT40LP under NEC and ET-LAD7 under Panasonic. Match whichever code appears on your existing lamp or projector documentation.

What should I check before ordering for a Panasonic PT-L7?
Confirm your old lamp is marked ET-LAD7 or that your projector reads PT-L7 on its rating plate. This listing covers that model under the NEC part number LT40LP, since both codes are for the same lamp.
