l1515a-projector-lamp-module
L1515A Projector Lamp with Module

HP's SB21 projector takes a single dedicated lamp, listed here under the code L1515A. It is the only lamp code associated with this model, so once you have confirmed SB21 is printed on your projector, there is nothing further to check before ordering.

We list a single part number, L1515A, for this lamp, with no alternative code or bare-bulb option. It is supplied as a complete module, so fitting it means removing the old housing from the SB21's lamp bay as a whole unit and replacing it with the new one.

At a glance

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-10772

Compatibility — 1 projector models

Common questions

Does the L1515A fit any HP projector other than the SB21?
No, we list this lamp specifically for the SB21. If you own a different HP model, check its own rating label, since HP used a range of different lamp codes across its projector lineup.

Is a bare bulb available for the SB21 instead of the full module?
We only stock this lamp as a complete housing and bulb unit here. There is no separate bare-bulb listing for the SB21 under this or any other code we hold.

How do I fit the L1515A into an SB21?
Power down and unplug the projector, allow it to cool, then open the lamp compartment, usually via a latch on the underside. Lift out the old housing as a single unit and fit the new L1515A module in its place.

Are there other part numbers I should look for on my old SB21 lamp?
No, L1515A is the only code we hold for this projector. If a different number is printed on your existing lamp, it is worth confirming SB21 is definitely the model on your projector's label.

What should I do after fitting a new lamp to my SB21?
Reset the lamp hour counter through the projector's on-screen menu, and dispose of the old lamp with care, since it may retain some internal pressure even after it stops working.
