et-la785-projector-lamp-module
ET-LA785 projector lamp with module

Four Panasonic projectors take the ET-LA785 module: the PT-L785, PT-L785E and PT-L785U, plus the differently badged PT-P1X300. Panasonic has not published wattage or lamp-life figures for this part, so we cannot state either here, but the module itself covers all four listed models as a complete housing-and-bulb unit.

ET-LA785 is the only code we have on record for this lamp, so there is nothing else to cross-check it against. Being a module, it replaces the housing as well as the bulb, which means you are not restricted to reusing a cage that may already be worn. Before ordering, confirm your projector reads PT-L785, PT-L785E, PT-L785U or PT-P1X300 on its rating plate.

At a glance

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-10981

Compatibility — 4 projector models

Common questions

Why don't you list a wattage or lamp-life figure for the ET-LA785?
We only publish specifications that appear in Panasonic's own documentation, and no wattage or hours figure is listed for this particular lamp. Rather than guess, we leave the field blank so you are not working from an invented number.

Is the PT-P1X300 really the same projector as the PT-L785 range?
It is a differently badged version built on the same platform, which is why it shares the ET-LA785 lamp with the PT-L785, PT-L785E and PT-L785U. If your unit is marked PT-P1X300, this is still the correct module.

Are there other part numbers this lamp is sold under?
Not that we have on file. ET-LA785 is the sole code we list for this module, so there is no alternative reference to compare it with when you order.

What's the advantage of a module over a bare bulb here?
A module includes a new housing, so any wear or dust build-up in the old cage is replaced along with the bulb. You fit the whole assembly as one unit rather than transferring parts between old and new.

How do I confirm my projector takes this exact lamp?
Check the model number printed on your projector's rating plate. If it reads PT-L785, PT-L785E, PT-L785U or PT-P1X300, the ET-LA785 module is the correct fit.
