dt01123-projector-lamp-module
DT01123 Projector Lamp with Module

Rated at 210 watts with a quoted 3,000-hour life, the DT01123 is the lamp and housing module Hitachi specifies for the CP-D31N, CP-D31NJ, HCP-Q71 and ImagePro 8112. All four names describe closely related projectors built around the same optical engine, so the lamp specification does not vary between them.

We also list this lamp under the code CPD31NLAMP, an alternative reference some suppliers and manuals use for the identical part. Either code will bring you to the same 210-watt module. It arrives as a complete housing, so there is no bare bulb to separate from an existing cage.

At a glance

Wattage — 210 W

Rated life — 3,000 hours

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-09168

Compatibility — 4 projector models

Common questions

Is CPD31NLAMP the same lamp as DT01123?
Yes. CPD31NLAMP and DT01123 refer to the same 210-watt lamp and housing unit. Different retailers and manuals have used one code or the other over the years, but ordering under either reference gets you the identical part for the CP-D31N family.

How many hours will the DT01123 last?
Hitachi quotes 3,000 hours for this lamp under standard use. Actual life varies with the brightness mode selected and how often the projector is switched on and off, so treat the figure as a guide rather than a guarantee.

Does the ImagePro 8112 really use the same lamp as the CP-D31N?
It does. ImagePro 8112 is a rebadged version of the Hitachi CP-D31N sold under a different name, and both take the identical DT01123 lamp and housing. The HCP-Q71 and CP-D31NJ share the same specification as well.

Do I need to reset anything after fitting this lamp?
Yes, reset the lamp hour counter through your projector's on-screen menu once the new DT01123 is installed, so the 3,000-hour countdown starts from zero rather than continuing from the previous lamp's total.

Is the housing included, or do I need to keep my old one?
The DT01123 is supplied as a lamp with module, so a new housing is included. You do not need to keep or reuse the old cage; the whole unit is replaced together.
