73p4966-projector-lamp
73P4966 bare projector lamp

73P4966 is a bare projector lamp built for two IBM models, the E400 and E500. Rated at 200 watts with a 2000 hour service life, it supplies the bulb only, leaving your projector's existing housing untouched. IBM also lists this same lamp under the code 73P4954, so both numbers point to the identical part.

If your old lamp is marked 73P4954 rather than 73P4966, you are still looking at the right bulb; these are alternative codes for one lamp, not two different products. Because this is a bare lamp, you will need to move it into your current housing rather than swap a complete cage. Check your E400 or E500 housing is undamaged before ordering.

At a glance

Wattage — 200 W

Rated life — 2,000 hours

Type — Bare Projector Lamp

SKU — LA-09212

Compatibility — 2 projector models

Common questions

Is 73P4954 the same lamp as 73P4966?
Yes. 73P4954 and 73P4966 are alternative part numbers for the same IBM lamp, so either code printed on your old bulb confirms this is the correct replacement.

Which IBM projectors take this lamp?
This bulb is built for the IBM E400 and E500 projectors. Both models use the same 200 watt lamp, rated for 2000 hours of service.

Does this include a new housing?
No. This is a bare projector lamp, so only the bulb is supplied.
