5j-ja805-001-projector-lamp-module
5J.JA805.001 projector lamp with module

For the MW723 and MW724, 5J.JA805.001 is available here as a full module rather than a bare bulb, with the housing already built in. This suits a projector whose current casing has cracked or whose latch has failed, since the whole unit is exchanged at once. No wattage or lamp life figure is published for this part, so we have written around that gap instead of estimating.

A bare bulb version of the same 5J.JA805.001 lamp is listed separately, without a housing, for the more common case where the existing casing is still fine. This module costs more but saves opening the old housing altogether. Both the MW723 and MW724 use the identical lamp cavity, so this one part serves either model.

At a glance

Type — Projector Lamp with Module

SKU — LA-08328

Compatibility — 2 projector models

Common questions

When should I choose the module over the bare bulb version?
Choose the module if your current housing is cracked, will not latch shut properly, or you would rather avoid opening it at all. The bare bulb, listed separately, suits a housing that is still in sound condition.

What does the 5J.JA805.001 module include?
A new housing together with the bulb, built for the MW723 and MW724. You remove the old unit as one piece and fit this module in its place.

Does this module fit both the MW723 and MW724?
Yes, both models share the same lamp housing, so this single module part, 5J.JA805.001, covers either projector without needing a model-specific version to be ordered separately.

Is a lamp life figure published for this module?
No wattage or hours figure is available for 5J.JA805.001, so none is stated. Watching for a dimmer picture or an on-screen warning is the more reliable way to judge when replacement is due.

What should I check before I order this module?
Confirm your projector is either the MW723 or MW724, and that you mean to order the module rather than the bare bulb, since both share the same part number but differ in what is included.
